This lighthouse is accessible by reservation only and is located right off of Highway 1. Visitors can walk the grounds of the lighthouse, see seals and even sea lions. There is a gift shop that directly supports the lighthouse restoration.
Piedras Blancas Light Station was damaged by an earthquake in the 1940s and the top 3 floors were removed. The original top of the lighthouse is on display in a nearby town Cambria, CA right off their Main Street.
